seo-pro

An SEO skill for Claude Code: it audits a site with evidence, fixes the code and checks that every change works.

The problem

Most SEO advice mixes solid fundamentals, outdated tips and tactics that can get a site penalised. A checklist can't tell them apart, doesn't know whether the site belongs to a clinic, a shop with thousands of products or a newsroom, and stops at "add a meta description".

Why it exists

We needed it ourselves: we build and run sites for very different businesses. Instead of a list, it gives the assistant a method —diagnose, prioritise by impact and effort, fix with the framework's own tools and verify every change— backed by 160 core practices, layers for Google, Bing and Copilot, AI answer engines, video and images, and plans by business type. And it measures instead of assuming: a Python auditor that crawls the site with nothing to install —and, when asked, opens it in a browser to see what only appears after JavaScript—, real-user Core Web Vitals from CrUX, and server logs to see what Googlebot, Bingbot and the AI bots actually crawl, with impostors set apart. The latest audit of this very website came out of it. What it doesn't do, so it doesn't catch you out: it promises no rankings and no citations in AI answer engines, and seeing the site with JavaScript is optional because it needs Playwright installed.

What you can do with it

MIT licensed: usable in any project, commercial included, with no permission and no fee. The scripts only read: the auditor makes GET requests, logs are analysed on your own machine, and Search Console, Bing or CrUX keys stay in its environment variables.
